There’s a (un)surprising similarity between Linda McMahon, her famous campaign donor and one of the Republican presidential candidates.

The Connecticut Democratic Party announced today that it is joining the Truth Teams, a new Democratic and Obama Campaign effort to hold Mitt Romney and other Republicans accountable for their false attacks on the president’s record, set the record straight on the GOP’s failed policies and spread the truth about President Obama’s record of keeping his word to the American people.

“Under Governor Malloy’s leadership, we’ve seen positive net job growth for the first time in three years. We have a budget that will end in balance, we have a sustainable relationship with our workforce and we have a focus on building a positive future for the state of Connecticut.

“With today’s address, Governor Malloy set the pathway for our state’s economic revival – for a skilled and trained workforce, for better outcomes for our children and for the fiscal stability and job growth that we need.”

“Today’s jobs report showing that the economy added 243,000 jobs in January is more confirmation that the swift action President Obama took to address the economic crisis is working. When the President took office, we were losing more than 700,000 jobs a month. The economy was spiraling out of control, and the economic security of millions of middle-class Americans was vanishing."
